Off topic a bit
Part of that was filmed near Hunters point near the powerhouses in the dogpatch. the other part was filmed about 3 miles from me in Richmond shipyard. most of those places are gone now.
I used to work near China Basin (near those two areas) and a guy who was a film buff like me took me to the shipyard they filmed it in. much of it was still there 50 years later but months after I left that Job, went with Gigi to that area of San Francisco (just before covid started) and they started tearing everything down to build Low Income housing. then they stopped because the soil was so toxic with radioactive shit the navy dumped off. now its finally been cleaned up and homes built. they spent 100 million removing contaminated soil for low income housing. then spends much of the cities budget and asking Gavin for more money to remove soil for 100 Million dollars so they can build low income housing so Section 8 people can live and fuck up.
had they allowed a developer in, they would have paid to have the soil removed and taken to a proper location to process the contaminants while building large condos with some reserved for low income and it wouldn't of costed the city shit. they then could have used the 100 million to buy elsewhere, tear down an old section not contaminated or refurbish older buildings for housing costing half of that money. -
