I'm sure if we all chip in for it we could buy a factory and start producing sneakers

    To really push the brand.

Get back to me when you call them "Trainers" and not "sneakers" which is a nigga term.

You should be ashamed of myself calling them that.

Nike Sold an NFT Sneaker for $134,000

Why would anyone spend that much for a virtual shoe?
The market for collectible sneakers has skyrocketed in recent years. And until recently, so had the market for NFTs, or nonfungible tokens, which function as digital certificates of ownership for works of art as well as tattoo designs and virtual real estate.

It was only a matter of time before the two hypebeast markets collided.

In April, Nike released its first collection of virtual sneakers, called Cryptokicks, which comprised 20,000 NFTs, including one designed by the artist Takashi Murakami that was bought by someone named AliSajwani for $134,000.

I bought an airbrush kit a year or so ago off offerup. Unused and it came with a bunch of different colored "leather paints" too.

I asked the guy what he'd been planning to do with it and why he was selling it.

He said he'd bought it to airbrush sneakers and was going to try and make a side business out of it...so dumb.

its as useful to him as your 6000 dollar soldering station is to you.

also midlife crisis is a state of mind, and is not necessarily age dependent.
