   Does anybody else here have the LotR fetish? Growing up my friends who were into it were awe-stricken by my comprehensive knowledge of Tolkien's imaginary universe; there wasn't a question relating to the lore that I couldn't address. It was the defining fantasy of my youth to be a character in those books, and now that I'm older I feel indebted to them for my sense of morality and responsibility.
