You go to some place, I call it the Summerlands, and contemplate the lessons you set out to learn, where you succeeded, where you failed and then decide which the egg that will best give you the chances to make further progress and the lessons you need 5o learn as a spiritual being. At the moment that egg experiences insemination your energy, soul, w/e goes into that fetus and all of your conscious memories are wiped.
It makes as much sense, if not more, as the belief that a cosmic jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh, drink his blood, and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is inherently present in humanity.

The existence of God can seem like a ridiculous concept but if you think about it so is the concept of existence and consciousness without one. I think we will continue to exist in some form.
I think "gods" are possibly conscious beings that are created by belief. Like you could create one or a devil. So I feel like following some kind of religion that a lot of other people believe in could be a good thing, besides offering structure instead of just making some shit up yourself that suits your degenerate lifestyle...
