This US election is hard to predict

2024-10-15 at 12:05 PM UTCNo matter who wins, it's going to look obvious in retrospect.
In 2016 it was obvious Trump was winning. In 2020, Trump was winning handily, until they closed the election counting efforts for the night, then when they opened back up the other guy was winning. Not hard to figure out what happened there.
Trump is hated by worthless shitlibs, like the sort who staff the bulk of the electoral bureaucracy. And yes, they absolutely will lie and commit fraud to stop him getting in, they themselves will tell you that. So it should be obvious the same thing that happened in 2020 will happen again.
On the other hand we are facing into a period of recession and war. While Trump is personable and likeable to normal people, Kamala genuinely comes across like a mental patient who has just taken her tranquilisers. It seems hard to imagine the people who actually run America will give her the job of president, which everyone understands is a PR role first and foremost.

So I expect another elite-led effort to "fortify" the election, except in the opposite direction, and Trump will be appointed.
But I'm not sure. But whatever happens, it'll all seem so obvious in retrospect. -

Seeing Trump joking with the jedis and the Catholics while Kamala is off getting drunk or having her thorazine injection or whatever I think it's obvious now Trump has it. -
2024-10-18 at 5:40 AM UTCNo it's not. Trump will lose.

2024-10-18 at 6:15 AM UTCShe's also going to be the first woman to be president. The first black woman. Unless Barron Trump gets elected in 20 years and establishes the long prophesized Trumpenreich, and the Trumpenreich memoryholes her existence, you can expect her to be remembered for centuries.

Originally posted by Elbow Honestly it would be extremely funny for me personally if Biden stays the course. If he wins, it means Trump lost to a literal braindead vegetable and that will be hilarious. If he loses, Trump is the second person in the history of the republic to have a non-consecutive two term presidency and everyone gets to gloat about how fucking retarded it was of the dems to run a literal braindead vegetable against the most charismatic man in politics.
the 2010-2020 niche culture something something there will never be a two term president keyword biden ONE TERM Trump ONE TERM Obama TWO TERM everyone else 1 TERM hip bash push!! DOMECRAFT NATO LIGHT

She's going to fix all our problems and end racism, just like Barry Soetoro did. -

Nah, I suspect her presidency will be pretty uneventful. I think most people understand this. Big part of why she'll win.
