They will downplay anything regarding modern day bioweapons programs in Japan, but they very much have them. The Japanese and americans also quickly took the research on this virus to canada so canadian researchers could help them study it.
People are lucky Japan is a friendly country these days. The Japanese just want peace but they also want to be able to defend their country if the US cannot effectively back them up at some point They have some very scary weapons. Covid19 escaped after it illegally went from canada to a lab in china. Japan and china are mostly on good terms these days but they dont fully trust each other or other neighboring countries, so they continue to develop asymmetrical means of warfare.
The virus was not authorized to be smuggled to china from canada, in case anyone was wondering. I wouldnt blame canada though as it couldve happened anywhere, chinese spies and corruption are everywhere and it looks as though corrupt elements/corporations of american origin helped provide the incentive to smuggle it to china from canada. The virus escaping the lab in china was due to the american corruption that helped it be smuggled to china.
The Japanese also have their own version of the CIA, modeled after the american CIA, but even more secretive, although they will deny that it has much capability. The technology the Japs, americans and canadians co-develop is some pretty scary stuff in some cases, not just the bioweapons. -

'COVID19' was most likely created and accidentally (?) released by Fauci's own Ecohealth Alliance from the facility they rent in Wuhan given the location, the documented furin cleavage sites and the now-public correspondence with Peter Daszak.
