These stupid yanks don't realize we pay some of the highest energy taxes in the world and have a robust system of carbon capture and have actually met our national emissions goals much better than other developed nations so as a whole our footprint is much smaller, even though our country is bigger and requires more fuel to travel to places.
Not to mention the funding that goes into public transit which when it reaches the same capacity as in the east and becomes fully connected you will be able to take a bullet train from Vancouver to St. Johns in about an hour with zero emissions

The joke is that I don't give a shit about national emission targets or carbon capture because i'm a REAL ANARCHIST!!!!! but that doesn't mean these things don't exist. Climate footprint is a legitimate basic scientific measurement, are you saying it's a complete fake made up science? because all a footprint does is measure the carbon emissions from consumers. It's a market metric and has nothing to do with climate or green politics.
And yes, Canadians that drives two trucks has a smaller footprint than a Chinese that rides the train to work or an Oregon farmer that never drives outside of town. Even a person driving around a province of Canada when they go home the power used in their home is clean and there is much less pollution than the USA because we don't have government lobbyists making back room red tape deals
That still happens here like this chemical plant which has been inspected & determined the company is working with the government to dump toxic waste into native reservation lands, because they can afford to pay the fines which is technically a source of revenue for the government -

Get back to me when you decide what you believe that buzz word means.

"Canada’s carbon tax is popular, innovative and helps save the planet – but now it faces the axe
As prime minister Justin Trudeau trails in polls, opposition seek to persuade voters environmental policy is a burden
Mass hunger and malnutrition. A looming nuclear winter. An existential threat to the Canadian way of life. For months, the country’s Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre has issued dire and increasingly apocalyptic warnings about the future. The culprit? A federal carbon levy meant to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
In the House of Commons this month, the Tory leader said there was only one way to avoid the devastating crisis: embattled prime minister Justin Trudeau must “call a ‘carbon tax’ election”." -

All business in Parliament has been suspended until Justin Castro hands over all relevant documents to the RCMP concerning his repeated crimes while in office, by order of the Speaker of the House. Nothing goes forward until Castro comes clean.
