Tax breaks, subsidies, and incentives to businesses and organizations are not "apples and oranges" it's all the same thing. You have not provided any supporting information besides "it doesn't count because they are a bunch of leeches!!" that's just your opinion pal.
If they ARE getting funding in any way that means the government considers them a business/organization and they are eligible for the same grants, tax breaks, subsidy and any forms of public funding that is available to all sectors of the economy.

If you don't like it then either stop paying taxes like Donald Trump or vote for someone that fixes this system you have a problem with instead of voting for the same people who love this system.
I've been saying for years that churches should run disability/welfare. People talk about how welfare recipients should be drug tested, well a church would be able to do that at 0 cost to the taxpayer AND they would force people to also read a bible to get their monthly dole and it would be entirely funded by LOCAL CONGREGATIONS so yes the root problem is taxes and the government and the systems you perpetuate.
