   So the assignment is “use the vocabulary terms that are a type of consumer” i name “Herbivore, Carnivore, Omnivore, Scavenger, Detritivore, and decomposer” but it marks all of them as wrong. Why is it wrong?

   Scavenger doesn't relate to a type of consumption, it relates to an action.
   
   The linking term is "vore."
   
   A hunter, grazer, farmer doesn't relate to the consumption they relate to an action that is a behavior that leads to consumption.
   
   Those are all correct types of consumers that were listed except not scavenger.

   i'd have to see the actual assignment but the teacher coulda just did it wrong. teachers are fucking dumb. all of those ones you said are things that consume stuff. unless she's asking which ones buy shit at the mall but that's a different kinda consumer.

    Put: an eater, a drinker, a smoker, a user, a vapeor(as someone who vapes ??i dunno lol), a shopper, a renter, a patron, a patient
