   I didn't even know SWAT games were a thing. Looks to be a thing where police hit-teams from around the world compete against each other, all funded by rich Arabs. The Chilean entry does not go according to plan. Longish video.

   The whole thing is just really weird to me. Like it's police pretending their job is the olympics or something. It just feels wrong.

   I would rather have guns + police-as-soldiers than no guns + unarmed police like the UK, personally. And if guns are going to be freely available, society needs the ability to issue a heavily armed response to heavily armed ne'er-do-wells.
