In a small town mildly bleak.
Lived a man named Fonaplats, meek
He spent his days in a drug-induced haze
Doing heroin in a neverending craze

Now a successful father and employed
He no longer feels all paranoid
He plays video games all night long
And shows others that they too can be strong
A role model to men in need
Fona proves that with determination and deed
One can overcome the darkest of days
And live a fulfilling life in many ways
So here's to Fonaplats, a nigga reborn
From a loser to a winner, not to be torn
May his story inspire others to see
That change is possible, for you and for me
I look up to Fona and his journey

I strive to be like him in many ways
But with better spending habits for all my days.
