   I can respect them a little more if they say they did it for money. My great grandfather would tell people that. And it was the depression.
   
   If they just said they were willing to kill people they don't know for a Dodge Charger I could respect it but would stop short of calling it heroic.

   My grandfather was drafted into WWII. Navy. He was one of many unfortunate souls who was sent in as a "cleanup crew" after we dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. He used to tell me stories about how the Japanese kids were like "starving dogs in the street" and he packed extra peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in his boots to toss to them and they'd fight each other over it.
