So bascally about a month ago a college friend of mine invited us to visit to stay overnight.
It was good enough. We stayed over in his rental house in Roscommon town with him and his 35 year old wife and 2 lovely daughers. He asked me to be the godfather to the youngest, and I was all like "maybe, I'd like to be". It's not the same thing as having a kid of your own, but it's someone to buy presents for at their birthday and Christmas. Which is nice. Something to do.
It was really nice.
Only problem was that as the night went one he got drunker and angrier. Especially as he went outside to smoke weed. He'd come back in to rage against everyone. His GF, me, work, GG, everything. He fell down the stairs at one point. He gave me a slap, he gave GG a slap, I think he may have even slapped his girlfiend.
His girlfriend is about 35, and complained throughout how he never married her, how he was older than her (older than me), how she wanted to get married, how she never liked him and always thought he was old and bald, etc. And when he started stomping around, angry, slapping me and GG and her, and not being able to articulate why, she became embarrassed.
I remember having to stand between him and his wife and GG, trying to tell him why he should go to bed.
Eventually we wore him out and he went to bed, but shitty situation, no?

I've gone feral like that and attacked a group of people before. I feel like it takes a special kind of brain damage. I wonder if he has any history of hard drug abuse

I can't imagine it tbh. If I was a man in that scenario I would have knocked him out after hitting GG and bought his gf a hotel room for the night so she was safe. I couldn't leave someone in danger like that. It sounds like she may want to be with you though.

I've never been slapped by a man but ik I wouldn't just sit there or let them live. They'd be getting hit over the head with something. That seems real weird to me that none of you did anything. Hope GG is okay.

I had a friend go feral once on alcohol and we were like "OKAY BRO WE'RE GONNA KNOCK YOU OUT IT"S FOR YOUR AND OUR SAFETY" because he was breaking windows and trying to chase vehicles like a dog
So we started whooping on him until he was bleeding all over and in a lot of pain, but he was still awake. It just made the problem worse and then we smoked weed with him after and he kept trying to fight people all night and was never the same again
at least he stopped drinking though

What would he say when he can't b remember much of the evening, his mate was raped, of course he'll deny it.
Then they'll arrest him in a few weeks and tell him his seven was found in the victim

There's something wrong on your end if your "friend" thinks he can hit your woman or any woman and not face consequences from you. You need to disown him, he doesn't respect you.
