I'll documented everything better and in full later but my wife and I have been digging around those floppies that came with the Osborne and one of them had a file that we opened and it turned out to be a very long letter to Progressive insurance where Osborne 1's old owner went off about how unfair it is that he crashed his station wagon and Progressive is giving him the run around.
It's epic internet rage from 1985.
Also, my Osborne attempted to connect to a ".com" but since it wasn't hooked to the internet did not.
It's so euphoric reading through all this man's personal files from 40 years ago.
I've got his ss# and a ton of other PI.
Apparently he was an engineer and a landlord. Guy owned half a dozen rentals but for whatever reason was in the red with it all.
I looked up his address and it looks like my house.
Hopefully I am able to track him down and he is still alive.
