I actually have heard of that now that you mention it. people don't realize powerful stimulants are a fairly recent invention, before cocaine you basically had coffee, ephedra in some parts of the world, and that was basically it except for some real toxic shit. they used to use small doses of strychnine as a stimulant for horses and people in some cases.

Yea, it's used in boxing as well. It's just smal dosages but they really don't make you give a fuck.
Nothing I'd recommend on the regular, though.
