    Am I missing out?

Describe the flavour For me? Alls I think about these days is avocado but I'm afraid of the stigma that comes with it.

Alls I can imagine is big avocados filling me up and coming on my face
    ..

Seriously though? Avocados 🥑? Guacamole seems like a nice dip but I can't really justify buying am avocado to eat in front of my TV in my boxershorts

What would I do with the seed thing(pit?) Aswell, are they the right weight to just throw at someone's head? seems abit of a waste to throw it in the trash.

Hass is more texture. its like a low tasting fruit (The Hass, The Floridian variety is a little more cucumber tasting, Less creamy)

but when you add a little lime juice to it while mashing it up and maybe some dash of sea salt, it suddenly has a flavor. obviously a hint of Lime and Salt but it now brings out a flavor that is Hass Avocado squishy-mush.

Good day, sir. I SAid GOOD DAY

Not really something you eat on it's own..it's nice sliced though on steak tacos and as you mentioned guacamole...Not something I ever buy myself though I always get it on my street tacos when ordering.

Guacamole is also pretty overrated in my opinion..it's ok but there are much better dips out there.

They also go "brown" very quickly once you "open it" and don't keep that long whole.

    Don't bother is my advice.

I used to put them in smoothies. THey are very fatty and thick. I would describe the fruit of it as "meat" even though it's soft and creamy and you can spoon it out easily like ice cream or yogurt

it's pretty tasty like you could totally pick one off a tree and eat it raw but OH MAN is it fucking good on toast. It's like a much smoothier creamy version of scrambled eggs on toast, and pairs better with flavor. There's a reason it's so popular. WITH SOME S&P OH MAN AND SOME SPICY *chefs kiss*

As for the taste idk it's like if you took all the cucumber flavor out of cucumber, but replaced it with the tang of... something.. it's a very distinct flavor and not similar to much else, it's "aroma-y" liek you taste and swallow it but you can still taste the aftertaste.

I just noticed Otters and Ferrets look kind of a like. At least River Otters. not the cuter Ocean otters of the Pacific

but avocados are really expensive and sometimes don't ripen the way you want to, when you want to, or how you want them to. you're supposed to put them in a brown bag to ripen better

someone said warm up a toaster oven just under 200 degrees f* and it will ripen in a few hours. I tried. CALLED BULLSHIT and lost 2 expensive Hass

They taste really fatty like some nuts I guess.

I used to eat them with olive oil and salt and you get tired of them fast.

I could eat a couple a week, maybe without the salt and olive oil but they age really quick.

Well you've really sold it to me at all thanks,

I bet they are ridiculous priced these days anyway

£6 for a decent brand of cheese, £5 for a tub of butter, I'll stick to ramen I think.

Are you one of these Quorans who like to ask questions about eating rotten food or what if you left a pound of hamburger out on the counter for 48 hours?
