Highway 120. literally its only known for being the last place on the way to Yosemite to get food and cheaper gas prices until you pay for the bigger ticket prices because everything beyond that has a huge surcharge for being in the boonies.
I only live like 130 miles from Yosemite but never go because even though it would be 2.5 hours normally to drive, the twisted switchback roads take 6 hours because of some old fucking tourist enjoying the scenery and never pull over to let everyone else pass them. its a 2 lane highway road that is dangerous as fuck. few passing lanes. it's hours of derp which is nice for first timers visiting but not people who live in NorCal.
there are back roads my former brother inlaw took when I went up there to stay with him and my sister who worked at the park one summer. but most people wouldn't find them interchanging roads.
saves about 3 hours of that bullshit.
there are tunnels, HOW THE FUCK WOULD KNOW THERE ARE NONE MOTHER FUCCKER -
