San Clemente, Cali? Whats it like living there
-
2023-07-12 at 9:35 PM UTCOrange County. is it pretty sweet? its far enough south of LA. Im looking at Bungalos and one has a view of the Ocean from it's rooftop deck.
I'm afraid of moving away from the Bay Area because of home sickness. there is a frightening sensation. if I was 20-30 it would of been pretty cool to experience but at my age I fear learning to drive around a strange place. takes a solid 4 seasons to settle in. maybe 2 years. -
2023-07-12 at 9:39 PM UTCGigi wants to live in L.A. now. everyone is moving out. half her family seems to be heading that direction. She has a Director friend from College
But we're too old to get into films now. it was fun 10 years ago. But Documentaries might be the new thing now. and Youtube if I can find a nitch to get over 200k subsribers. -
2023-07-12 at 9:42 PM UTCThe way I see it there is only a few different californias
You got the bay area and LA, and san diego lots of meth, BART, homeless, high urban.
Then you got small town Medium city california which covers everythign from Salton to Fresno , bakersfield , etc. All more or less the same, lotsof mexicans or w.e
Northern california is basically oregon but cooler and more weed and big ass trees, I would wanna live there, kinda sounds like vancouver to me (I almost ended up there instead of here, another path)
there's also rural and small town california which I hear can be either hell or paradise depending where exactly
What happened to the desert homestead ? Did you run over ANOTHER solar panel???? you give up too easy!
people used to want to make this the capital of Canada, Victoria vs Ottawa. I could see it! -
2023-07-12 at 9:50 PM UTCHalf Moon Bay is dank. but foggy af.
SNL star Rob Snider lives near there. I think in Pacific which is a surfer town but cold most of the day. I think he moved back to LA probably.
its all good. It's beautiful in Pacific when the fog burns off a few hours a day but the fog is so thick, you can't hear shit. it's like a natural acoustic tile. it dampers sound. it's dead quiet
its like that up and down the coast too. I think Bodega Bay is like that.
Also Noticed British Columbia has a Halfmoon Bay as well as Cali. California it's one of the Pumpkin Capitals of the west coast. massive Pumpkins growing and acres of Pumpkin fields in October near Highway 1. its pretty neat to visit the Pumpkin Festival -

Reminds me a lot of Ontario , taxes are way too high, too many nutters in charge even though the actual population community is WAY more diverse like people all think California is all dumbocrats but there are lots of rich white gated communities and they all hate mexicans lmao -
2023-07-12 at 10:13 PM UTCA lot of indians are moving to Sand Fran because they found out you're allowed to go #2 on the street, which they LOVE. And then they turn they're bathrooms into spice closets for storing there various spiceroys and smoking opium and basically it's a bonus room.
Paula Dean covered this on house hunters on hgtv -

2023-07-13 at 2:55 PM UTCMicro Climate today
64 Coast. 108 in Concord both in the Bay Area. typical Weather in the summer that most people dont know. they just think all of the Bay is 65-70 all summer long.
sometimes the fog rolls in and its 50 and it's 105 Fahrenheit inland. it's a huge stretch in temps. -
2023-07-13 at 3:05 PM UTCTo bad CA got so many fucked up laws and taxes because it is really a beautiful state with lots of variety. Don't know what it's like today but when I was there in the early 80s it was pretty nice.

2023-07-13 at 3:08 PM UTCfound out the house for sale for 450k (a massive steal) in San Clemente was 65 and above. most retirement homes are 50 or 55 and above.
it had real strict rules to get in too (probably a "wink rule"). we're not old enough. its a bummer. it was on a cliff side with a deck built on the roof over looking the ocean. fuck it. we're not ever getting a home it seems. :(
We're looking at The Dells Wisconsin now. almost all of my relatives left Cali. everyone is moving out. Arizona is getting pricey. No Bradley you can't move in. I'm trying to get her to consider Maine. there is some affordable homes. Cold as Fuck but some nice towns. -

It stop being nice around 88 or 89. thats when crime spilled over into towns that never experienced them before. the crack epidemic and the growing liberal in power. far left. not left. the left was never bad but the "New Left" is what did it. -
2023-07-14 at 11:28 PM UTCI got a tat that says Cali life , it's in cursive

use the shell to wipe your butt like the Natives and our own ancestors.
ick
anyways yeah, shellmounds exist for a reason. but the shell is full of calcium. many vitamin companies broke thousands of years of shellmound creation with their bulldozers in the early 20th century.
fucking hell im buzzed and its almost daylight outside. I sleep all day and stare at the ceiling
not going to make it in the morning. such randomly random chit chat
