You don't see what you want on the face of the button you press though, you need to have a cognitive model of how objects in a case map to buttons. I'd argue the map is fundamentally physical, position to position, as opposed to lexical (grapheme to grapheme). -

2017-03-05 at 9:25 AM UTCif 90% of sales were for a particular product how much do you think placement changes could realistically alter that? maybe like a fraction of a percentage because 2 extra neurons have to fire to process a framework that an infant has developed so that requires 2 more ATP particles which is making my 128934774023978th cell really fed up

The fuck are you talking about dude? Learn to explain a neuron and synapses in a coherent way. Dont just learn the word. -
2017-03-05 at 9:34 AM UTClanny was saying if there's a cognitive bias for making a certain selection, then that could be used to increase sales by strategic placement. im saying if someone wants a can of cola they aren't going to walk up to the machine, have their mind blown to pieces because it isn't in position A, and decide to not make a purchase. its like saying "you have to move your eyes once to the right to buy your favorite snack, do you buy it?" no shieeet
