Do the u and je sound the same?
I love learning languages because I have a knack for accents and can sound native, and because my voice is too high-pitched when I speak English. Only thing is it's diluting my natural accent. -

No, they sound different. “U” is pronounced.. well, I don’t know how to write it down, but “je” is pronounced as “yuh.” I also got a knack for languages myself. I can speak Dutch, English and Urdu and I’m learning Japanese now. I can also understand a regional language in Pakistan but can’t speak or write it myself. I can also read the Persian script which is based off of the Arabic script. -
