Unfortunately most players never get there, but why not? A lot of it doesn’t necessarily have to do with scams, bad luck, wipes, or rats. A lot of the top players experienced those same things in the beginning. It really comes down to the mindset and habits players have when playing the game.
Below are some habits and traits that all the top players share and help contributed to their success in the game. If you adopt the following traits and attitudes as your own, it is quite literally impossible for you NOT to get rich and become a good player. So please as you read this article keep an open mind, and I hope this inspires some of you to get on the grind to become a top player.
Motivated players play what they enjoy playing. This can mean endlessly grinding dungeons with friends, or a skill they like. They do what they’re comfortable doing and what they like doing, and avoid everything else in the game because they don’t have “motivation” to do it. If you’re playing the game for fun that’s perfectly fine, but what annoys me is when people complain about how they’re not rich while continuing to have this mindset.
Disciplined players grind what they need to grind to progress in the game, regardless if they enjoy it or not. They enjoy the results more than the actual grind. These are the players that grind out wolf9, foraging50, and parts of the game that aren’t enjoyable. These are the players that max out their HOTM tree and make tens of millions of coins an hour with mining. These are the players that grind mastermode because they know it’s better than grinding f7 hoping to drop a handle. These are the top players in the game.
If you pick any of the top players, from Deathstreeks to Ealman, Dulkir to Refraction, or even ThirtyVirus and other YouTubers they are all disciplined. Sometimes they don’t feel like doing something but they do it anyway because they know it needs to be done to progress the fastest. And this is what makes the top players stand out from the rest of the playerbase.
