I went with the Cub Cadet SC900.
Cost me $720 with the rear discharge chute.
I got free delivery purchasing the mower from Homedepot.com and I bought the discharge chute off the Cub Cadet website.
I think it is a good compromise.
Hopefully my wife can shut up now.
