what do you think they put the bricks around

I know you can do it without wood but i've worked in the industry before I know MASTER MASONS and been on stone house, ive even seen a glass house. I would consider a brick house with no frame to be shittier than a shitty japanese old style home

You can use steel frame for bricks but I doubt most homes are doing that, i've never seen it. I live in a brick building but the WALLS are normal wall, not brick on the inside , even the hallways.

err...not wood. You have SOME wood for flooring and roof but not a wooden frame in a REAL brick home. The primary component is BRICK!

My house back in England didn't have ANY wooden framing in the walls, it was two layers of brick (with a couple of inches gap between the two) with plaster stuck directly to the brick on the inside...(none of that sheet rock crap)

Building shitting wooden homes is to keep costs down...most wont be around in 150yrs..My BRICK home in England was build in the late 19th century and is still standing.

well it's not like you would know if it had a wood frame unless you could inspect it , unless you can just tell at first glance a wood framed or not brick home, idk I just assumed it was all wood framed and anything else is subpar

its not like they use shitty wood to frame houses

If you own your home you KNOW how it's constructed and you KNOW the building techniques used in the home construction if you have spent ANY time researching your home before you buy it and ANY time maintaining your home.

example: Replace a window you can see it's just brick..no wood. Install a new damp course...you can see it's brick.

My home for example we were installing a new damp course a few weeks after we moved in, the builder found a problem and had basically remove an area of wall (which guess what...was just BRICK).

I understand you are only going by your own personal experience but no...a traditional BRICK home does NOT have a wooden frame...new shitty faux brick homes might though!

Those faux brick homes that are basically a wooden home with 1 layer of brick on the outside for aesthetics...that's not a brick home.
