10/10, acting was great. Learned helplessness affects everyone. I was moping about stuff the other day then realised I had the answers the whole time but ignored them because they didn’t fit my perception of reality.

My mum used to tell me I couldn’t study in the city because of my autism, and the first time I went abroad by myself, she got the police involved, they couldn’t confirm that I wouldn’t be stopped from getting on the plane because of my autism. I had to climb out a window and stay at a friends house the night before the flight.

You know there's a mental illness where you believe basically you're on the Truman Show, where everyone's an actor, everything's a set, everyone but you is in on it,
the most bizarre part of this though, is until the year the movie came out, no one ever had this mental illness. It was almost as if the movie put the idea into people's mind and the seed took hold in fertile grounds, blossoming into a facet of skitzoaffective disorder.
