   True. But more like "gentler" than "slower". The created frequencies can be quite fast, quite high or quite low, depending on the properties of the medium.

   I had these goggles in red that looked great with devil horns and it was cool seeing everything red, like being in a horror movie, but I could only wear them briefly because they're not sunglasses. They trick your eyes into letting more light in without the protection. Something to take into account.

    actually read a few studies that indicate red light produces the strongest internal response (mapped on an EEG). now trying to sync the lights to 'hemisync' audio to improve its effect.
    
    related: been reading Robert Monroe's books and studies on 'hemispheric synchronisation', will maybe write about that later
