Are more and more Chinese wanting freedoms from Communist ways? Is China even really a communist country? they have class parties of wealth. how is that Communist? Communism is a radicalize form of Socialism. why no equal money distribution?
the Gang of 4 were a Chinese Mafia. they used the Communist Platform to win over the people and kill all the property owners of that time who charged rent. but they were nothing more than a gang of thugs.
look at the gap in wealth between the have and have not. its like a radicalize form of Capitalism. it's Hyper-Capitalism. the farthest on the political spectrum of true Communism.

I don't think so. If we look at it just from a numbers game, there are more people in the State Security Organ than in the PLA. The State Security Organ is a term for all the internal/domestic security organizations in china. It's their job to keep everyone in line. The Party Line. Currently Xi Jinping has full control over all sectors of government, military and internal security.
Especially now that he had Hu Jintau escorted out of the building during the CCP party congress that was happening the other day. It was a vulgar display of power, and everyone there looked very, very uncomfortable. Public purges are a Mao thing. I think Xi is going to be Mao all over again.
