   I fantasize about building a normal little micro-home above ground and dig a massive trench and build a massive set of cellar rooms below and living like a hermit and shaking my fist at the world outside. then drive to reno once in a while and play slot machines and hit the buffet and then drive back home and rinse and repeat. cause the world today is lame.

   That sounds cool man but tunneling is a lot of hard work I think those guys use big compressors and jackhammers/ air chisels

   I dont think there is much granet in the high desert under the soil. it's like probably mostly clay. just get a back ho rental. I think it's pretty pricey. 450 a day or some shit. but 3 days I should be able to dig a trench out a decent size and then fense it off. thats what land insurance is for. if some meth head or kids accidently fall into it.
   
   then take my time having material dropped off after I have a small house to live out of. and just build flooring and walls and a ceiling and then place like rows of those pipes used to block off trails. that are like 4 feet high and you lock into place when you need to drive through it. but just have a slightly pitched corrugated steel roofing with drainage ditches running horizontally along the bottom and make it look like Im collecting rainwater for a well drain-off. while it has a little corridor below it going into cellar rooms. maybe put a little Theater room in one and an extra guest bedroom or some shit in another. i dunno. sounds lame now that Im typing it.
