Half the times you hear the phrase, it’s being spat contemptuously out of Hannity’s or Carlson’s piehole. I suppose someone who thinks Christians are being persecuted in the US are already twisting themselves into strange mental shapes, so swallowing the idea of Fox as an underdog isn’t too much of a leap.

There will always be an element of doubt in any "news" story that you yourself are not personally involved with...a normal rational human knows this and can generally determine as to the validity of a story/research the story further by comparing with other sources and or weigh up the benefits of it being a blatant lie and basic life experience/knowledge/historical record etc.
Example:
Foxnews: 26 people died in a plane crash this morning, details still coming in
CNN: 24 people died in a plane crash this morning, details still coming in
MSNBC: 28 people died in a plane crash this morning, details still coming in
NUTTYNEWS.com 27 people were killed today when the NWO shot down a plane.
So a normal rational human can deduce there was more than likely a plane crash that occurred but the exact number of casualties is unknown but estimated somewhere in the 20s...it's highly unlikely the plane was shot down by the NWO.
A nutjob might deduce: Ohhh look at the mainstream media lying again and covering up a clear attack on humanity by the NWO to distract from the news that Covid was in fact introduced by the Grey Aliens as a preemptive strike ahead of a global invasion...so fucking typical of the mainstream media and the sheeple who believe them! -
