   I give you the RIA VRF14 the first semi-automatic short barrel firearm of its kind. This little beast measures just 26 INCH/660.4 MM overall with 14" of it being the barrel. It is chambered in 12 gauge 2¾/3" and weighs a mere 6.6 pounds dry. It runs the same 5, 9, or 19 ro7nd magazines as my VR60 and VR80. Featuring half rails on both sides and full rails top and bottom. All of this for just $599.00 USD.

    Only single shot or bolt action weapons are not gas operated. All firearms use powder. All semiautomatic (autoloader) firearms are gas operated.
    
    The powder creates gasses when it ignites. The energy from these expanding gasses propel the projectile from the cartridge and down the barrel, eject the spent casing, and finally load another round via mechanical actions powered by the gasses.
