I should start charging you for all this education I give you daily.

doesnt change the fact that if treaded tires are much more grippier than untreaded tires, racing tires would be treaded in addition to being made our of "sticky" rubber compound as you so brazenly proclaimed.

You said racing tires don't have tread, as demonstrated..they do...your further scraping to save face is as mentioned....

    AN ELEPHANT.

fail context and english again mr.england ?

you claimed that treadless tires or those with shallow treads lacks grip (bolded for your convenience)

    1.6 mm is 20% of 8mm or 17.8% of 9mm

to which i replied with a request for explaination.

"Formula 1 tyres are built for performance rather than longevity. Street car tyres will last about 15,000 Km, but the life of an F1 tyre is between 60 and 120 Km. Since they are built for extreme performance at high speeds, the rubber wears off in no time"

Softer, sticker...and more importantly illegal on street cars... so irrelevant.

care to explain or are you gonna evacuate your goal posts again this time.

I did explain, your statement that racing tires were slick was incorrect and that the slick ones available are not street legal and so quite irrelevant to the discussion about tires for street legal cars .
