    I had this happen to me years ago and companies sometimes do this bc they don’t want the cost to onboard you. It’s more cost effective for them to keep you on with the temp agency. They are probably gonna wait until the 1 year mark. I know this sucks, but I wouldn’t leave and start over for less pay. That’s a vicious cycle and you’ll just get stuck in it. Stick it out.

    I’ve been there. Maybe put in some time at your current place, get a good reference, and then see if you can get the union job at a decent starting wage? That’s what I did with that company that kept me temp for a while.

    Etc

    If they know you're single you will be the first guy they ask for OT. it's nothing but a trap to make you spend all your time at work and never have enough time to date

    Meanwhile as your vacation gets denied because it's busy that week, Kathy and Bob the manager are going on a couple's cruise with their kids

    On the other hand if you let them know your single and you "watch my sisters kids" then they know its easier for you to find another job while saying you have other commitments after work.
    If your in a speciality type job theyll treat you well because they know you can leave yo get hired quickly again since you dont have a family to provide for. That and they know itll be a pain in the ass to rehire someone
