I was in Detroit recently. Most of the photos I thought I took don't seem to have been saved. There was some interesting stuff, especially all the vacant lots in the city. Blacks there just seem to let their houses fall down around them too, which I found surprising and shocking.

Detroit was interesting. I was surprised how rich and modern the area around it was. Dearborn was very modern and wealthy. The area around the Detroit inner city is where the nogs live, and that was something like the worst areas of Mombasa, except like 100x worse. I was genuinely afraid there. The actual inner city where the skyscrapers are is beautiful, but obviously only kept afloat with government money and globohomo corporations like Google who are determined to have an office in Detroit. I visited the Ford River Rouge plant, and watched big dumb F150 trucks go from components to being fueled up and driven off the lot, which was amazing. Then I visited a strip bar, and enjoyed seeing some titties that weren't Groceries Girl's for the first time in 6 months. I drank a lot of $7.50 Bud Lights while watching the pathetic brass pole dancing on display, then my rental car more or less did the hard work of driving me home using lane assist (for those who never drove drunk, it's easy enough to concentrate for short stretches, but staying alert for hours on the highway is much harder).
