Why buy a used tire? Are you just trying to find similar treads? Get 2 new if it's a 2wd and sell your busted ones. I've got a few new tires in my shed right now I should figure out what to do with

guys that buy one used tire dont give a fuck about 2 tires unless its the same price as one tire, they know tires are just tires and as long as they get you to work and back all is good

I've bought nothing but used tires for 15+ years...75% of the tread for 1/3rd of the price...$40 where I go. New tires are used tires as soon as you drive them out of the shop...

Sure, but motor oil is more critical than rubber...bad oil can seize your engine, bad rubber is visible and can be rejected before you buy it.

plugging a hole in your used tire costs you a quarter of the price of a new used tire.

    is it worth it.

A seized engine can certainly kill you and/or others.

Also in case you missed it

    "bad rubber is visible"

If you inspect your tires regularly it's not an issue.

Bad oil is not going to seize your engine... You can run 25,000 miles or more on the same shitty oil with no leaking. It will just lead to premature wear on bearings, rings, lifters, valves, etc.

    Try again poindexter...

You are like a snotty limey version of Vinny the Pooh...

Bad oil can = clogged/fouled up oil pump = seized engine.

    Stay in school kid.
