Not sure what to think

   I went to this coffee shop just now where this friendly albeit gay dude works and I saw him like either smelling my cup before pouring milk into it (I ordered a latte) or spitting in it or looking inside it. Not sure what it was or what to think but what would you guys think or say to him anything? I figure he was just checking if he gave me the right ammount of grain but I am not sure why a bartista would have a cup so close to their face but again I wasnt paying attention at first how he made it so I could have missed what he did or was trying to do and just caught the end of it.
