it was sad to see him tear up when he invited some of the lunar astronauts (Still living) and they refused to go see his test launches.
I mean WHY? why would they turn down this offer? because Elon isn't connected to Government funding?

but he died sadly some year ago. I talked to him in Private Message a few times on his apollo14 website forum. he ran a BBS 20 years ago (just about now.. like 2003 I talked to him. I was tr9g on his site), if you want to find it on archive.org at least that's still there. no one pulled that page.
He got angry at me. like 3 of us replied to his statement about knowing people in NASA who claimed to have seen UFOs and were forced to sign NDA. he was a big UFO buff. He was born in Rosswell NM, saw the down UFO and said it was no tin foil nor weather balloon. then he becomes one of only 12 men to walk on the moon. Anyways, he replied to me angerly when I asked if he was scared of being harmed if he spoke out publicly. He told me He wasn't scared of anyone and would never back down. So I apologized to him. LOL
I wish had printed that page. and framed it. -
