I will argue FOR this proposition.
2022-01-16 at 12:01 AM UTC
Even if over 99% of UFO events are ultimately not representative of some extraordinary phenomenon, only one of them needs to do so in order for the proposition to be true. There have been millions of UFO sightings around the world for at least over 70 years and possibly for millennia. It is highly improbable that exactly zero out of these millions of events report a single genuine NHI event. Therefore I argue that it is highly likely that the proposition is true.

would you also argue that at least one religion is probably right, given how many people have been religious?

That's not a like query. A like query would be "since the dawn of civilization humans have worshipped deities, does this mean there is one?" And to which the answer is "Yes, however it may not be what we have been expecting" which may also be the case with the UFOs.
Aliens and religion are so important to be intertwined. I've seen alot of Muslim scholars on YouTube who believe in UFOs and aliens and point to several passages in the Quran which allude to extraterrestrial life in some way. I dont understand why other religions don't seem to embrace UFOs like they should

Definitely. They're both similar but I meant the overarching theme of what captain falcon posted was "it just takes one true UFO encounter to prove the existence of aliens" so a similar query wouldn't be "is one religion correct?" it would be "of all theological texts, discussion, encounters etc. Is one aspect correct in assuming a higher power?"
I think Aliens are easier to prove than a Deity. That's kinda why the guy from ancient aliens with the fucked up hair and the Greek sounding name became a meme, shoehorning aliens into everything without an easy explanation, sort of like what people do with religion and politicians do with illegal aliens and domestic terrorists.
I read an article that basically said 80% of scientists believe in a Deity and like 60% believe in aliens. Weird shit. I'll try to find it

I was the first to address 99.99% of UFO reports are false. The other one in 0.001% is inconclusive or has the element of facts.

I think Barney and Betty Hill's abduction in the 1960's was one of the most truthful ecounters with ET's. Make of it as you will but it didn't sound faked or rehearsed like most bullshitters today.

This was paricularly interesting cause it was the first widely publicized alien abduction. Also the couple were mixed race, being highly uncommon in the 60's. Maybe this pipqued the ET's interest in abducting them.

I'd argue at least one aspect of religion is probably correct given that so many religions make the claim of divine beings existing. In fact these night ultimately be one and the same because all claims of miracles and divine curses like resurrection, cure and natural disaster, are ultimately just engineering feats that can be accomplished by advanced life forms.
However aliens are also much easier to prove than an abstract "god". It would take seeing one physical alien or alien artefact on another celestial body or any sort of evidence that can't be explained by non intelligent processes at all, whereas the concept of an all encompassing
and purely abstract supreme deity cannot be addressed one way or another, ever.
