Plus if you're drinking alone, you got some serious issues. closeted drinkers is a pure sign of alcoholism at its worse.

I would lock myself in my room and drink for a while but I discovered the internet video stream sites like Justin.tv and the original Yahoo.com/chat room

It was cool if you have friends you know especially during covid. an Online Bar.

    Exactly

People who say it’s easy to quit are obviously idiots and trolls who don’t understand what it’s like to be a full-blown alcoholic

My uncle died from this a few months ago after his struggle with it for well over 20 years I’d say but somehow managed to keep his high paying job for 15 of those years and left behind a 14 or something year old son but never got married

Somewhere in the middle of all this for some reason he was baptised as a Lutheran which I never understood why

And from the beginning he actually got his university degree in Canada if that’s what you call it there

While he was in hospital all this year I saw how quickly he went downhill and after seeing how painful (for him and everyone else) it really is to die from that disease I decided to get myself off the booze too

And I’m at least 6 months sober now

This is now an AA thread

Edit - but in your case Shit Mix it’s probably too late for you now

I’m predicting an early death by both heart and liver disease, probably in 2022-23 after reading some of your posts

Heart AND liver disease, that really is a shit mix
