thought, or theta, is the primogenitor of life, energy, and matter.
in the last universe, there was a super-solar system where hundreds of identical suns orbited something basically like a black hole, and each sun had an earth orbiting it, they were all the same. and on those earths, a game was played, where the forms of identity as we now know them were like, 'classes' in the competition, each with their own win and point scoring conditions. you could be an Artist, or Soldier, or Whore, etc etc etc and you got a trophy for winning.
this universes is a degradation from that latter universe, it's a punishment universe kinda, we're stuck in physiological organisms that once we could slip in and out of.
that's kinda spurious though, some say this is the 10th universe, some say it's the 11th, and that the tenth universe was the 'Magic' universe, basically like our own but magic worked, and that it was the 9th universe that was the 'Games' universe. as far as i know the 'magic' universerver is basically depopulated at this point, not sure what caused the migration. possibly magic was just too OP for most denizens of the realm, and so more and more people migrated down to the newest universe. it's easy. you have to have tremendous horsepower to go back to the prior universes, back towards the jediel of Knowledge, beyond which no one that i'm aware of either personally or in literature can see.
