No that was never accepted science. Gravitons are a hypothesis in quantum field theory. If they exist and are detectable, which they might, they will be at much higher energies than we can currently test. And they don't "cause" gravity any more than electrons "cause" electricity. It's an explanation of what they are. -

It is already known that the graviton theory (once widely held to be true by science) is BS. It is also already known that gravity is an energy wave which, like any other energy wav, (AM, FM UHF, or VHF for example) can be accessed and amplified if you can produce enough power. -
