   If you say "I will die if I jump off off this bridge" that's just your opinion. It might be true more often than not but it isn't inherently true and can't be considered a fact unless you knew you were going to do 100% of the time. That's what makes it an opinion. Better to just say "I think I'll die if I jump off this bridge, but I don't know for sure."

   It's just technically an opinion because there's that off chance that you can survive it, just like people have survived falling from airplanes without a working parachute. Rare, but possible.
