2021-06-23 at 4:03 PM UTCI'm all for experimental vaccines, I don't really understand the science behind it. They need to spend more on advertising because literally everyone believes it's a microchip zombie virus.
The idea of regulating an industry makes me cry. I'm not against the vaccine but I am against the government requiring you consume this commercial product to be allowed basic freedoms like association. They are ruining the free market and holding back science, for all we know there could be a better vaccine right around the corner that's cheaper and easier to make.
But we would never know or discover it because of all the rules and regulations associated with virology and pharmacy industries which are going to be even more regulated after covid especially if it's confirmed to be lab-made.
The global pandemic isn't the fault of globalization and international travel. The free market would have regulated themselves a lot faster than the government but the reliance on government to make the rules and "oh let's stay open we can't hurt the business like that" and then "NOPE CLOSE EVERYTHING"
how about allowing businesses to do what they do best, running their business and leave that decision to them and the ALMIGHTY CONSUMER who can choose to not go to places that don't have mask rules or vaccine screening. Making it mandatory does nothing but perpetuate the systems that caused this in the first place.
Society is doomed and the only solution is ECONOMIC FREEDOM!!!!! -

The problem was a legal one. Drugs are not allowed to be "FAST TRACKED" anymore because of FDA regulations, Operation warp speed did one thing, make it legal for this specific drug to be approved without years of testing.
There is a belief that a company is incapable of testing their own product for safety because it makes more financial sense to not test it, get the profit and just pay legal fees because you still come out in the end wealthy. There is long track record of this happening throughout history when there was little to no regulation.
there are almost no modern examples of this happening except maybe from developing countries. Industries are mostly self regulated these days with minimal government involvement because it makes more sense for a business to not kill thousands of people in accidents if they want to stick around. -

They can use advertising and appealing to emotions and guilt tripping, essentially replacing the role of social media and journalism which have been taken over by the government NO FAKE COVID NEWS ALLOWED
I honestly don't see the difference between a PFIZER PUBLIC HEALTH MEDIA OUTLET telling me to wash my hands and wear a mask versus the government doing it.
People respond a lot better to voluntary requests than fines and criminal punishment. I doubt there would have ever been an anti mask or anti vax movement if the government never got involved

2021-06-23 at 4:54 PM UTCThe companies that make these drugs are bold and confident enough in their skills that they believe they can introduce a product into the market without testing and not kill thousands of people.
Maybe this will turn us all into zombies but if nothing happens in 5 years this will be hailed as a success, why do we need peer reviewed studies when we have SCIENCE.
The only way to learn is by making a mistake. If you live in fear of another mistake you will never GROW and EVOLVE and understand the universe better.
This is why NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION research chemical drugs are so popular because people are willing to take it and sacrifice themselves for the betterment of scientific research.
