Yeah they're common in countries with modern police systems. One social worker type, one armed officer who stands back and lets the social worker do their job. Works out great because people don't have to talk to someone who might try and hurt or kidnap them. Eases a lot of tension. They're doing exactly the sane thing here in Colorado now as well as some cities, but people think its a "BLM thing" and not something Europe started doing 40yrs ago. -
