    This is the fundamental weakness inherent to any monetary system that is fiat based. As long as you can print money it's going to lose it's value. This is what is great about BTC, it takes computers effort to mine a bitcoin, and the computations become harder as each bitcoin is mined. Not only that there is a hard limit on the amount of bitcoin that can ever be in circulation. Thus it retains it's value far better than fiat.
