He wrote a script that did it, and then just linked into the server and let it run automatically for a length of time. Imagine how low you'd have to be to go to such lengths just to shut someone up when you disagree with them and just can't stand to hear their opinions any longer. That's scary. -

I've gotten into more arguments / debates with Lanny than you ever have about more interesting topics and he has never felt the need to ban me or anything over a difference in opinion. Have you considered that maybe it was all a joke, and maybe the joke was played on you because of how predictably you act and react? -

That's not the point. The point is, Lanny used his mod status to shut up a poster just because he didn't agree with their opinions. That is not a debate, it is a fact. Joke or not, he did it. And it wasn't a joke either. Not many people know this, but Lanny can become so frustrated with a difference of opinion that, once he drinks, all his pretend inhibitions fall away, and he loses all sense of shame. Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I didn't make the bed Lanny is lying in. -
