The fear that could happen again consumes THE CANDY MAN. Everytime he sees Kr0z's rape escape face on her phone (and he's ALWAYS checking her phone) he feels she's playing with fire.
Forbidding her would be going too far. Instead he requests all interactions be public so he can meticulously search through every one, ensuring no reciprocal affection is demonstrated. He can't afford to lose another one to private messages. Messages intended for HIS one. He knows how easy it would be to slip up and he would lose everything. He just prays she doesn't lose respect for him and disobeys his orders. It is better to be respected than feared but he is sure to keep her on a steady diet of both.
When the respect is gone so is she. Gone onto the next man to facilitate a one on one conversation with her. He can never let that happen. Never can he lose that respect he has worked so tirelessly on. If that is lost he has surely lost his sweet sweet candy. A person who carry on a private conversation with you only comes around so often. Almost never. That's how often. The candy man knows this and cannot share his candy with anyone else.
