I read "contra cocaine" and other stuff about him but wasn't big on his biography, which after a quick "not a sourcing" I now see he shot himself TWICE which seems very suspect, of course in addition to all the other things that would make him a target. I was under the impression he was suicidal and despondent after being overtly blackballed. He had sold his house the week before too but he would be a likely candidate for assassination by those his writings upset. Can't really say one way or another, I wasn't there and I haven't seen the ME report.
I guess that reasonable men over 40 just don't kill themselves. Even Hunter S Thompson did it fucking cringily and out of a need to control his own narrative and be a control freak.
Too bad this faggy lil fruit fly neuroscientist couldn't handle some counter cyberbullying and couldn't live with his name associated with his "dr caveman" internet handle. Stupid. Whole story is stupid. I'm killing every fruit fly I see from now on -

I don't think people should be reprimanded judged and held accountable for almost everything they can say online or off but if you cant deal with how others construe your words then maybe you shouldn't have said them. To commit suicide over online harassment speaks to some underlying issues of his own. Shame he died.
Kinda lkle Gary Webb, who told an amazing story very well then was blackballed, I think its a tragedy and certainly something that shouldn't have happened, but to commit suicide just makes me think "what a loser; he let his enemies win" when there was no reason to.
Very strange stort that isnonly a story because of his death. Makes you wonder how many people are fighting these stupid little battles everyday
