you sign in as a standard user and you can authenticate to the API which then allows you to make changes or retrieve data at the admin level. -

Security through obscurity. Always thought it was a shitty doctrine, i know i don't have to tell you this but for anyone else, it's something you should only do after you properly secure your assets the regular way. And even then a persistent adversary will make short work of it. Some people insist on running their SSH on a weird port like 7300, but if i am port scanning a server, i am scanning all ports in general, not just key ones like 21,22,23,80,443 and so on. If i want to save time i'll spin off multiple threads.
That's just an example but security through obscurity has dubious utility at best. -

i disagree, we definitely should. back in the day at the height of places like somethingawful, newgrounds, ebuamsworld, people our age were constantly under attack for reading comics, playing video games, having a sick sense of humor and looking at titties on the internet. everything we loved was attacked by the mainstream and pushed to get banned by all sorts of puritan lunatics.
keeping to ourselves in our own hangouts didnt work. we decided to raid and troll the normie internet with national porn days and impose our culture on the rest of cyberspace. only after doing this and triggering enough of these retarded snowflakes to finally fuck off to their own quiet corner did we gain the upper hand.
the net is now saturated with porn and no one gives a shit anymore. comic book culture and dark humor IS mainstream culture now, we fucking won.
we did this as children, we can do even better as adults. time to drop all pretenses and go on the offense.
