Republicans will not be able to recover in their current state. They'll need to adopt a more populist attitude, which is what they tried with Trump but completely failed at since Trump isn't a real populist. Otherwise he would've pushed that 2k stimulus WITHOUT the shell company shit. He would've pushed alongside the democrats. But he's too stupid to see the tide. He may honestly be the best thing that's happened for Democrats yet. Trump has completely split the Republican party and it is fantastic.

He had it SO fucking easy. All he had to do this year was listen to the experts and go along with the pandemic plan that Clinton/Bush/Obama worked on. But no. He had to do his conspiracy shit about the virus and get all his followers to turn against the Republican party. He fucked conservatives so hard. I go look at conservative chats now and they're actually voting for Democrats because they just hate Republicans so much and want something to be done.

Republican Senators fucked up so hard by pushing Mitch McConnell as well. This is what years and years of cock-blocking bills and going for libertarian purism gets you. Americans want a government that WORKS. Democrats are the only ones offering that right now. Is it shitty? Yes. Is it considerably more than Republicans are offering? Yes. Republicans want to leave poor Americans in the fucking dirt.

You can cry about freedom all you want. About how masks are an infringement on your rights. But in the end, when people go hungry, they will eat the rich. America has been comfortable enough, and its poor rich enough that they haven't protested. but enough is enough. People got angry, showed up in force, voted, and now public opinion controls politics, as it should be in any healthy democracy.

Republicans will possibly take back the Senate in 2022, but Biden will win re-election easily with him having erased the coronavirus in his term. Republicans will spend the next two years till Senate re-election complaining about how all of this is the Democrats fault. They'll cry about the deficit, about taxes, etc. I doubt they'll win the house till maybe the end of Biden's second term.

It's funny how many Republicans are suddenly against the electoral college. Fucking snowflakes. Biden won fair and square and they can't handle it. Watch, all I'm going to get in response to this post is insults and not actual facts proving anything they believe in. I have facts on my side. Do you?

There isn't even two parties. There's only one party. The Them Party. Us vs Them. That's all it really is. That's all it ever really was. And Trump isn't with the Them Party, he's with the Us Party. And the Us Party will be the winners, because the Them Party just isn't strong enough or smart enough to defeat the Us Party.

They will just shift to the left.

Like they always do. Think about tranny-loving, gay 'marriage' supporting Trump, and how much further to the left he is than Reagan. Let alone Lincoln.

The left shifts left, and the right shifts left, but not quite as much. And then they loudly declare "this far but no further"!

Repeat until the United States is Paedophile jedi Socialist Republic.

The best Republican was objectively Will Hurd and he's leaving because the Republican party no longer has any principles.

They need to rebrand without losing their base in order to get any momentum. It will be difficult and the core principles which have always been attractive have to remain in place while distancing themselves from the last 4 years. Most of them have proven themselves to be spineless sycophant dickriders and they need to prove this isn't who they are anymore. They need to mercy kill Ted Cruz too, he's literally a less likeable Ted than Ted Bundy

The Republican party will end up divided into two camp. There will be the more traditional Republicans and there will be the whackadoodle QAnon/Trumpist party.

This split will, thank god, keep the sane Democrats in power as the adults in the room.

The end of the two party system would be a good thing, as it would force accountability. You can't blame the other party if there is no other party.

Trump is going to form a new party called the Patriot Party and it will be the rise of a new nation.

The Republicans will be the New Liberals.

He's going to be stopped from running again with this conviction in the senate. Republicans do not want him around. They're going to pick someone shitty who will lose in 2024 against Joe Biden, but they'll gain the senate and use it to make nothing happen from 2024-2028. Then they'll come out with a new populist in 2028 who will want to lower the taxes on the middle class that Trump raised with the 2017 tax act (effective this year. You'll see it next tax season) but will be blamed on Joe Biden.
