I owe $273 to a collections agency for a neglected PayPal debt because I ignored every warning email thinking they were phishing scams.

It feels great not owing anyone anything.
The only thing I pay for is property tax and utilities.
    And food and booze.

My credit has been going down in recent months and I don't know why. Just a couple points a month for seemingly no reason. I found a debt I had in collections and paid them, and my credit didn't go down. I now have nothing outstanding and my credit card is a few hundred dollars overpaid and I lost it so I should probably get another. My other credit card has to be reissued. The concept of credit is so fucking jedi and socialist it makes me sick to participate in this part of the economy.

You're credit score goes down if you don't use it...you should always have a small balance on at least one card which you pay off every month as that counts as on time payments. If you don't use your credit for a year then the effectively have no record of your credit worthiness for a year...and your score will drop.

Just fill your gas tank up using a different card every time you go and pay them off at the end of the month, no interest and you get payments reported to your credit which keeps it current and active (+ reward points depending on the credit card...I just converted my amex points into $28 amazon store credit).

PSA : theres never such a thing as a "win-win" situation as its a situation where the winner is winning less than what a winner is entitled while the loser is losing less than what a loser deserved to lose.

its a bs phantasy lie tailored for people with low iq who cant simple basic math.

    Wrong...

A sensible card holder doesn't pay anything extra..he gets what he wants PLUS reward points AND a boost to his credit score...which these days is often used not only for borrowing money/buying a car/buying a house/ but also many companies now run a credit check on you when you apply for a job.

The credit card company wins by the VAST majority of idiots running up huge debt.

IF you are in the former group...it's a win/win for both parties in the long run, you get what you want and they get what they want from the idiots.

    Ghost Black Hole
i was on drugs and being controlled by various plurals for years so there are all kinds of court orders against my bank account that allows anyone to take whatever they want anytime.

I don't know what those pesky plurals got up to but I think the debt should be wiped because it was plurals that stole my credit card and used it to by drugs, I have no memory of doing all those drugs so it's not like I got to enjoy the money.

I just woke up one day with people yelling at me and debt and I have been trying to dig myself out of this hole ever since.

    Student loans...long paid off.

    Home loan...paid off.

Taxes...paid (just wrote real estate and personal property checks on Saturday).

Only use one credit card (although have another for back-up) that pays me to use it and pay it off in full every month.

    Credit score...in the 820's.

exactly, because americans have effectively become serfs to their financial feudal lords. this is because credit scores is an indicator of the thickness of the leash the banking industrial complexes have around your doggy neck.

theyre a reflection of your desperaty for regular paying jobs.

no, all credit card holders are sore losers and the only thing that prevented this from becoming a fact is their lack of knowledge.
