What are your opinions on the current electoral system?
Do you think we should have an electoral college? How do you feel about faithless voters? Should the election be decided by popular vote?
I would just like to hear everyone's opinion BEFORE results are called so we can see where everyone stands. It's likely this election will be dragged out for a while.
They attempted to get rid of winner take all here in my province. I voted to hell with it, in favour of a system that makes rural votes count more and will allow representation based on the popular vote (if you get 10% of the vote, you'd get 5% of candidates or something).
Of course, the socialists here argued that it would allow fringe parties such as nazis to get representation. So it got voted down in a referendum.
I'm a reasonable person so I can see the school of thought where the popular vote should win but I don't think you should let cesspool blue states that are always going to be blue states decide for other parts of the country things they have no expertise / shouldn't have a say in. Just like how red states should be fine with places like california being full of homo junkies.. its what they want, but just like how some blue states shouldn't be allowed to tell me that my family and I can't go to church while they proceed to go riot and loot hard working people, its quite the quandary really.
Just like the whole abortion topic, like hey its your body its your choice.. but what about the body and choice of the baby? like just because the baby isn't of age of consent means you man mutilate its genitals? what if the baby grew up wanting to have foreskin? Now it has to go through some kinda weird foreskin restoration process because of the negligance the parents put on the baby because the gubberment said that their your property.
Its like I had a job when I was 16 and my dad froze my bank account because he didn't want me spending my money, wasn't allowed to drive the car I bought, ect.. infringed on my god given right to fuck, even went as far as callig me a pedophile, which I technically was at the time, but so was she since I was underaged also.
It's really quite the quandary. I'm told by femninist that I need to put minorities and women before me because Im a white male.. Don't see why I need to do that jsut because the federal gubberment says I am even though I'm not. But the libtard feminist will say that society sees me as a whyte male so I have to go along with it despite me not being a white male.. its all really convuladued, its quite the quandary really.
Like I believe its okay to force yourself on women if they have it coming and try to bow up like they are a man, they're asking for it, but if you do you're labeled a wife beater, if a woman does it she's considered brave..
It's just like how women except to get paid as much as a man, yet tend to be weaker and more frail and need more vagina breaks and child rearing sick leave. like my manager two nights ago we all made fun of her because she had to leave because of her period that she has once a month.. like every other woman.. i mean jeez if its that bad where every month you need to leave because you're on your period you should probably sign up for disablitity or something. When I was kicking alcohol I straight up told me manager that I hadn't slept in three days but Ill show up if I have to but I'm bound to fuck up a lot of stuff and he let me off the hook because it was a legit reason that could potentially put hundreds of lives at risk, not some ho that is on her rag lol

and if the "popular vote" should count and is federally mandated than all other laws and regulations should go across the bored for all states, like if marijauana is decriminalized / legal in some areas, then the same laws and regulations should be the same all across the board to all states.
If joe bidens son can smoke crack and not go to prison over it then I should be able to smoke crack and not go to prison and then get rehab..
or we just be real and just go off on that if you're willing to pay enough money for corruption to go in your favor then that should be koshure.
